  • Script that uses browser resources for cryptocurrency mining

Pornography

  • Explicit adult content

Malicious Bowser Extensions (MBE)

  • Tracking pixel fired by potentially malicious/hijacked browser extension on the users browser. These extensions typically hijack search queries, inject their own ads, and/or redirect a user to install other extensions from the same developer.

Malware

  • Bitcoin mining

  • Cloaked ads

  • Deceptive ads

  • Domain shadowing

  • Exploit kits

  • Infectious Code

  • Unsafe click trackers and landing pages

Phishing

  • Attempts to collect personal information in a devious manner, such as a fake company support page

Redirects

  • Forceful redirect from page

Suspicious Content:
​Flagged for behavior or content based on the following criteria:

  • Ad stacking/impression stuffing

  • Fake downloads & updates

  • Highly obfuscated javascript

  • Information not related to the ad

  • Low reputation domains

  • Obfuscated code

  • Pixel stuffing

  • Recently registered domains

  • Suspicious/fake platforms, adservers and DSPs

  • Top-level domain, registration date or location

Trojan

  • Directs users to install potentially unwanted programs

Video Stuffing

  • Blocks script that loads a hidden video player or ad

Risky Platform

  • Platforms that have consistently been involved with unwanted, suspicious or outright malicious behavior. While the platform itself is not fraudulent, it is often exploited by bad actors to execute malvertising campaigns.
