Here's a quick tour of the blocking dashboard highlights, navigation & key metrics.

1) Total Ads Blocked

Indicates the number of ads that were blocked during the selected date range.

2) Total Ads Blocked Chart

Provides a visual of the number of ads that were blocked during the selected date range. On the top right-hand corner of the chart it's also called out whether this metric is trending up or down.

3) Unique Signatures Blocked

As a best practice, ADL always blocks on the most granular level possible. We call the specific details we block on signatures. These signatures can range from specific creative IDs to entire domains.

The 'Unique Signatures Blocked' metric in the dashboard shows the total number of distinct signatures blocked during the selected date range.ย

4) Protected Impressions

Indicates the total number of ads that were wrapped with the Ad Lightning blocking script and analyzed during the selected date range.

5) Block Type

Provides a visual breakout of blocks by category.

6) Top 5 Signature Threats

Lists the top 5 highest blocked signatures along with a visual.

7) Toggle

Allows you to swap the blocking section of the UI with the scanning section of the UI, so you can prioritize which section you'd like to see at the top.

  • One last important note regarding the blocking dashboard: The domain, network, device and country filters are not applicable at this time. If you attempt to add these filters, you will receive the below error notice.
