What it is

The Boltive Mobile Native SDK is a lightweight SDK for real-time detection of malicious, offensive, or non-compliant ads in mobile apps. The SDK supports any ad rendered within an encapsulated WebView container and is SDK-agnostic, helping developers maintain a safe and brand-safe user experience.

Key Benefits

  • Ad Quality & Compliance: Block unwanted/malicious ads in real-time, including the ability to filter and block ads based on sensitive categories (e.g., gambling, alcohol, political), and enforce creative standards (e.g., file size, ad formats, autoplay sound etc.).

  • User Experience & Revenue: Minimize user frustration by allowing users to easily refresh unwanted ads, while simultaneously preventing revenue loss from invalid traffic or ad policy violations. Support safe direct-sold and programmatic campaigns.

  • Transparency & Control: Real-time dashboards. Insights into ad quality issues. Configurable and customizable block lists.

  • Developer Control, Always: Boltive empowers you to take full control of flagged content in your app. We alert — you decide.

How It Works

  • Capture: Wrap or monitor an ad creative via Boltive’s simple native API (Swift for iOS, Kotlin for Android).

  • Analyze: The SDK inspects ad content in real time as the ad is rendered or during pre-load.

  • Flag: If inappropriate content is detected, a native callback is triggered so the app can take action. Typically, the action is to refresh/replace with a new ad.

Integration Highlights

  • Supported Formats: The SDK supports any ad rendered within an encapsulated WebView container, including but not limited to banner ads and interstitials.

  • Platforms: iOS (XCFramework), Android (.aar)

  • Languages: Swift, Kotlin

  • SDK Agnostic: Designed to work with any SDK

  • Real-Time Monitoring: No impact on UX or ad loading
